Gluexpert | Working Principle of the Solvent-free Two-component Mixing Machine

01 The ideal partner for solvent-free lamination | Gluexpert two-component mixer: fast changeover, stable supply

In flexible-packaging solvent-free lamination, inaccurate two-component ratio, time-consuming cleaning during changeover, and unstable supply have long troubled many factories.

Ratio deviation easily causes delamination and poor curing; cleaning glue tanks when switching orders wastes time and labor and delays delivery; bulky equipment is hard to lay out and limits workshop line upgrades.

Gluexpert's solvent-free two-component mixing machine tackles these industry pain points head-on, empowering solvent-free lamination lines with a stable and reliable supply and mixing solution!

02 Core working principle of the Gluexpert solvent-free two-component mixer

The machine at a glance

The Gluexpert solvent-free two-component mixer is equipped with a PLC intelligent control system. Precision gear pumps draw the adhesive main agent and hardener separately, completing accurate metering at the set ratio (100:50, 100:100, etc.). The adhesive is conveyed through heated, insulated transfer lines to a static mixer for thorough, uniform blending, then continuously delivered to the laminator's coating unit. The machine integrates multi-point real-time monitoring of temperature, pressure and flow, with full-process data control, keeping the mixing process stable and controllable while reducing adhesive waste and defect rate.

03 Six core selling points for new production efficiency

1. Tank-free cleaning for fast order switching. Switching to a different adhesive requires no tank cleaning—simply switch the mixer to change the production order, saving substantial cleaning labor and greatly improving changeover efficiency while reducing consumables and safety risks from solvent cleaning.

2. Accurate A/B ratio with traceable production data. Precision gear-pump metering ensures accurate, uniform blending of main agent and hardener with stable, continuous supply. Production order history is automatically retained for quality review, meeting factory quality-control needs.

3. Online coating monitoring with multi-layer alarms for safe production. Coating amount is monitored online in real time with a complete alarm mechanism; pressure or flow abnormalities are warned early to prevent failures and fully protect workshop safety.

4. Compact with casters for flexible layout. The machine has its own casters, is small and light, and can be moved and placed freely, letting the workshop plan line layouts flexibly—even old lines can be easily retrofitted.

5. PTFE material tanks with multiple feeding options. The NCO component tank uses PTFE material for less residue and easy cleaning. Optional 200 kg drum or IBC automatic feeding modes adapt to different production scales.

6. Strong compatibility with all major laminator brands. Widely applicable, it can be connected online with all brands of solvent-free laminators on the market without major modification of existing equipment, lowering deployment cost.
